Membership Payments to End of March
A report from Stewart Smith showing status at end of March of membership payments in total and online vs traditional memberships. Note that this is NOT memberships, but membership payments. It includes all payments when a person joins multiple branches, but only one payment per family which joins just one branch.
Total payments at end of March this year (1,566) has only a tiny edge over payments on same date last year (1,555). I was hoping we would be further ahead.
People are taking more advantage of the opportunity to pay online – 809 this year vs 663 last year.
Spring Loyalist Gazette
Communications Chair Carl Stymiest notes that the Spring Gazette is progressing and should be at the Printer before the end of April. It should go into the mail and the digital version posted sometime in May.
Book Reviewers Needed For Loyalist Gazette
The UELAC Loyalist Gazette and Communications Committee is looking for 3-4 additional Book Reviewers.
Quite often the UELAC Dominion Office receives complimentary fiction and non-fiction books, published on the Loyalist era and the American Revolution. The reviewer submits a book review for a book supplied by the UELAC Library & Archives for a future Loyalist Gazette publication.
The Loyalist Gazette is published in the Spring and Fall when Book Reviews are submitted for inclusion.
Our next submission will be 05 August 2022 for our Fall Loyalist Gazette Publication.
If you enjoy reading and would like to be included as a possible Loyalist Gazette Book Reviewer, please feel free to contact me for further details at…
