‘Coming of the UEL’ Plaque

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

On August 13, 1983 a plaque honouring the United Empire Loyalists was dedicated by the Dartmouth Heritage Museum, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. It can be found near the Dartmouth Ferry building, on the walk towards the mouth of the Shubenacadie Canada. Unfortunately no additional information has been found regarding the actual ceremony.

THIS COMMEMORATES THE COMING
OF THE
UNITED EMPIRE LOYALISTS
TO THIS PART OF BRITISH NORTH AMERICA
IN 1783

AUGUST 13, 1983
